This e-Tutorial describes the rationale, benefits and steps of integrating the Microplanning approach in HIV prevention interventions with MARPs This e-Tutorial takes approximately one hour to complete. After completing this e-Tutorial, participants will know:

Aastha’s Microplanning Approach: Participants will know how to integrate Microplanning within their program
How to use the Microplan to track service delivery to individual MARPs and scale up service

This e-tutorial will be followed by the next levels – Advanced and Dynamic Microplanning. There is also a quiz associated with the e-tutorial.

The World Health Organization (WHO) anticipates releasing updated guidance on oral pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), containing tenofovir (TDF), as an additional HIV prevention choice. The new guidance is likely to be significantly broader than previously and creates real opportunities to move forward with implementing PrEP as part of comprehensive HIV programmes. This publication, produced collaboratively between UNAIDS, WHO and AVAC, is intended to complement WHO recommendations and support the optimal use of oral PrEP to protect individuals and contribute to ending the AIDS epidemic.
